About Me
My name is Rick Meredith. I am a Husband, Father, Hunter, Fisherman, Spearfisher, Scuba Diver, Hiker, paddleboarder, USCG Captain, and enjoy Adventure. You get the picture. I was fortunate to grow with an active lifestyle. We didn't wear helmets, we came in when the street lights came on, drank out of whatever hose we found at anyone's house. We left in the morning and probably ate at whoever's house we happened to be at. We not only survived, we excelled. I spent almost 27 years in the US Military. Most of us have the aches, pains and scars that went with this lifestyle.
I started this website as a reminder that there is always a reason to get outside. Too often in todays society we are tied to phones, devices and non-active endeavors. We don't seem to be taking care of ourselves in our Physical, Mental and Spiritual needs. The goal is to motivate others so we can experience all that we can. Get outside, do anything, just don't sit behind the screen looking at Instagram or Facebook and wish you were doing what you see others do...Go out and do it yourself.
